I think I cleared up the wording I wrote a section of the barbed wire article on making a barbed wire gate, but I'm not sure if it is any more clear. I think I'm going to go take photos of a barbed whire gate. By uypturned post I am reffering to a sharpened fence post with the sharpened end in the air and the flat end sitting on the ground.
